Mat Davidson

Mat Davidson graduated in Music with Visual Practice from the University of Brighton in 1999, having also studied composition with the Welsh composer John Metcalf. Recent commissions include a tuba quartet performed at the Vale of Glamorgan Festival, and music for Annie Pui Ling Lok’s dance collaboration ‘the co-efficient of friction’. Matthew’s work is diverse, ranging from the sounds of twenty wind-up musical toys to the genre defying four-piece band Alan. He now teaches music at the University of Brighton.
